The Vision Process

We make the process as simple as possible and help you along the way.

    Initial Appointment

    In the initial meeting we will discuss your new home design options and possible budget.

    We will obtain the title and soil report – if not provided and valid Client can view our range of premium inclusions and upgrades to prepare for Interior Designer meeting.

    Preliminary Stage

    Vision draftsmen will provide a sketch plan showing front elevation and floor plan only.

    If the plan is 90% correct we will provide a preliminary price – based on our Premium Range Inclusions.

    If within budget, part deposit will be due to complete drawings, soil report, slab design and 6 Star Energy rating report. This deposit is non-refundable, however the figure is taken off the full deposit stage at contract signing.

    Client to meet with our Interior Designer for colour selections – this meeting will generally take up to 6 hours and all selections must be completed at this stage.

    Final Design Stage

    Our estimator will then re-assess the preliminary quote to a final quotation for your building contract. This will be based on the soil report, 6 star energy rating, slab design/footing design and any upgrades selected.

    Signing of contracts – A draft copy of the final contract will be sent to the client one week prior to signing for review, please allow at least one hour on the day of your final contract signing to complete paperwork.

    Site Start

    At this stage we will apply for the building permit once the full deposit has been paid.

    After payment – building permit can take 3-4 weeks to obtain.

    Once permit has been received and issued – The site cut will be ready to commence within 3 weeks if possible.

    Construction Process

    Construction time depends on the size of your build, we allow a minimum of 6 months. Payments are set out in the HIA building contract and issued when each stage has been completed on site.

    Pre-Handover Inspection

    A pre-handover inspection/walk through is carried out one or two weeks prior to the handover date.

    This is carried out prior to final clean and appliance fit off.

    Handover

    Once final payment has been received, a handover date and time will be booked in and your keys to you brand new home will be handed over. This will include your occupancy certificate, all compliance certificates and appliance manuals.

    Maintenance

    After 3 months, we will attend to any maintenance issues that have been agreed too within Australian Standards.
